摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for an electrode with improved electric conductivity and a power storage device including the same, and provide a material for a high-capacity electrode and a power storage device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A material for an electrode comprises a core 102 containing as a main component a compound represented by a general formula Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>MSiO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>(where M represents at least one element selected from Fe, Co, Mn, and Ni), a coating layer 104 covering the periphery of the core and containing as a main component a compound represented by a general formula LiMPO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, and a solid solution 106 between the core and the coating layer. This structure can provide a material for an electrode with high electrical conductivity.
