<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of efficiently and effectively removing carbon dioxide from an exhaust gas flow. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide recovering system 10 includes a reaction chamber 14 at a first pressure with an exhaust gas flow inlet, a phase transition type liquid adsorbent 12 chemically reacting with the carbon dioxide to form a solid material, a regeneration unit 36 decomposing the solid material to discharge the carbon dioxide, and regenerating the liquid adsorbent, and a dry transport mechanism 34 configured to transport the solid material from the reaction chamber at the first pressure to the regeneration unit at a second pressure higher than the first one. A method of recovering the carbon dioxide from the exhaust gas flow includes steps of making the carbon dioxide chemically react with the liquid adsorbent to form the solid material, dry-pressurizing and transporting the solid material to the regeneration unit without adding a carrier fluid, and heating the solid material in the regeneration unit to decompose the solid material into carbon dioxide gas and the regenerated liquid adsorbent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
