NEW POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION, POLYMERIZABLE COMPOUND TO BE USED FOR THE SAME, IMAGE-FORMING MATERIAL AND LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE PRECURSOR USING THE NEW POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition formable of a good polymerization-cured film free of film reduction with good developability, and to provide a lithographic printing plate precursor good in developability and contamination resistance, and having sufficient resistance to plate wear.

SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition includes (a) a polymerizable betaine compound having at least two sulfo-betaine structures and at least one ethylenically unsaturated bond in a molecule, and (b) a polymerization initiator. The image-forming material contains the polymerizable composition. The lithographic printing plate precursor includes the image-forming material containing the polymerizable composition.
