<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve coating quality by inhibiting bipolar phenomenon on a target to be coated or on an electrode when conducting electrodeposition. <P>SOLUTION: An automobile body 105 is delivered, dipped into an electrodeposition coating material 102 in an electrodeposition tank 103 and moved through the electrodeposition coating material 102. A first electrode E1 and a second electrode E2 are arranged in the electrodeposition tank. The second electrode E2 is located closer to an exit of the tank than the first electrode and applies a voltage high enough to perform electrodeposition coating on the automobile body 105. The first electrode E1 is controlled by a control device 151 so as to alternately apply a low voltage, at which the electrodeposition coating is not performed and thus an electrodeposition coating film is not deposited on the automobile body 105, and a voltage high enough to perform the electrodeposition coating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
