<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve controllability of isolation in the case of unwanted high-voltage effect in an X-ray source. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray source contains a Faraday shield (210) housing a circuit, a high-voltage power supply, and an isolation transformer. A winding (190) of the isolation transformer is shielded in a coaxial manner and the shielded portions (193 and 194) form continuous portion with the Faraday shield. In the winding of the isolation transformer, a primary winding of the transformer contains a secondary winding connected via a transformer core, and the secondary winding of the transformer supplies the circuit in the Faraday shield with electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
