<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of a user, when acquiring information of a plurality of spots where the same kind of enjoyment object in the vicinity of a route is enjoyed, in route guidance. <P>SOLUTION: (a) Route data are prepared, which include information of the first kind concerned with a position of a route, and information of the second kind concerned with a peripheral area, which is an area near the route and is an area including a plurality of spots where a common enjoyment object is enjoyed. (b) Route guidance is performed based on the route data. In this case, (b1) the route guidance is performed based on the first kind of information. (b2) The neighboring area concerned with the enjoyment object is introduced based on the information of the second kind, and information retrieval concerned with the spot where the enjoyment object is enjoyed is urged (S1204, S1224). (b3) When receiving instruction for performing the information retrieval, at least a part of retrieval conditions is determined automatically based on the information of the second kind (S1230, S1232).
