The present invention relates to an envelope bag, comprising a front bag layer and a rear bag layer, which front and rear bag layers define an opening in a spread-apart position of the envelope bag, and with a continuous passage through the front and rear bag layers to be acted upon by a spreader device for the purpose of spreading the front and rear bag layers in order to open up the opening, wherein the passage is substantially aligned through the front and rear bag layers and the passage in the front bag layer has at least one feature from the group at least comprising: dimensions and design which differs from the passage in the rear bag layer. The present invention also relates to a set of envelope bags and to the use of at least one envelope bag in a sleever machine. |
