<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of improving safety. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of battery cells 140a, 140b retained by side plates 120a, 120b and electrically connected to each other by bus bars 160 are surrounded by a frame. A cooling medium for cooling the plurality of battery cells 140a, 140b is introduced and the cooling medium is circulated through the plurality of battery cells 140a, 140b. The frame, in which a cooling passage is formed so that the cooling medium completed in this circulation is discharged, is constituted by a metal housing 110 formed by casting of a metal material. Moreover, it is preferable to apply chamfering work to portions opposite to the battery cells 140a, 140b of edge parts of a cooling medium inlet 180 and a cooling medium outlet 181 provided in the metal housing 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
