<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture an image of a subject without sending a doctor or a radiological technician directly to a disaster site or a home healthcare site. <P>SOLUTION: In this radiographic imaging system 11, before capturing a radiographic image, an on-site side communication section transmits an on-site side optical image to a standby position side communication section 104, a console 106 sets (changes) the content of an imaging menu according to the state of a subject 18 reflected in the on-side side optical image, and the standby position side communication section 104 transmits the imaging menu after the setting to the on-site side communication section.
