<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mode coupler that extracts only electric power in a desired mode from a plurality of modes propagating in a wave guide, capable of significantly eliminating restrictions on packaging without degrading characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The mode coupler includes a wave guide having a coupling part coupled to an external portion in a specific mode, of a plurality of modes propagating inside a pipe, and an coupling path that is provided on the periphery of an external wall of the wave guide and that guides the specific mode from the pipe inside through the coupling part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
