<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use peripheral information of a vehicle acquired by a periphery monitoring device. <P>SOLUTION: A parking lot management system comprises: a periphery monitoring device for acquiring the peripheral information; a battery Bt; an amount of stored electricity detecting section for detecting an amount of stored electricity of the battery Bt; charging equipment for charging the battery Bt; peripheral information acquisition processing means for selecting one electricity of the battery Bt and the charging equipment to supply it to the periphery monitoring device and acquiring the peripheral information; parking space state detection processing means for detecting a parking space state on the basis of the peripheral information; parking lot information acquisition processing means for acquiring the parking space state as parking lot information; and guidance processing means for sending the parking lot information to other vehicles.
