An additive for a primer composition comprises the reaction product of i) a first reaction product of at least one isocyanate including a thiophosphate and a silane selected from an amino-silane, a mercapto-silane, or a combination thereof; and ii) a second reaction product that is an isocyanate functional prepolymer with an isocyanate content greater than about 1 % generally formed by the reaction of a polyol having a functionality of greater than about 2 and a molecular weight (M n ) greater than about 300 and an aromatic isocyanate.
