CURTAIN AIRBAG

[Problem] To provide a curtain airbag that has an increased ability to prevent vehicle occupants from being thrown out of a vehicle. [Solution] This curtain airbag (100) is characterized by being provided with: a series of main chambers (140) along the sides of the vehicle cabin that are capable of expansion deployment; a delay chamber (142) positioned at the front end of the series of main chambers (140) that expands and deploys in a manner so as to overlap an A1 break point beneath an A pillar (120) of the vehicle; and an ace tab (150) that locks the upper edge of the delay chamber (142) to the A pillar (120). The curtain airbag (100) is further characterized by the ace tab (150) being provided at a position that overlaps a line (LS) that passes though the shortest distance from the A1 break point to the A pillar (120).
