PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for fabricating a light guide plate are provided to help a user to manufacture a light guide plate with high brightness and high yield in short time by securing the reproducibility in manufacturing the pattern. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate manufacturing apparatus(1) is comprised of a bite(10), an actuator(20), a driver(30), and a feeder. The bite forms a pattern in the light guide plate manufacturing apparatus. An actuator reciprocates the bite up and down. A driving part moves the actuator to left and right. A transport unit transfers the light guide plate manufacturing apparatus.
