<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit that improves power conversion efficiency when it is used of a power amplifier capable for adjusting the supply voltage. <P>SOLUTION: In the power supply circuit, power corresponding to amplified power of a switching regulator 13 is supplied to a coupling circuit 10 from a DC/DC converter 9. In the coupling circuit 10, an AC component of output power from an AC amplifier circuit 12 is superposed on a DC component of output power from the DC/DC converter. Thus, the power supply circuit can reduce output power from transistors 5 and 6 in an inverter 7 of the AC amplifier circuit 12. The transistors can be small in maximum output current, be small in inter-electrode capacity, and have excellent frequency response, so that the power supply circuit can extend a frequency band of the AC component which is output from the switching regulator 13 to improve the power conversion efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
