<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight heat-dissipating molded body having high rigidity and excellent in heat dissipation characteristics and heat-resistant dimensional stability, and to provide a heat-dissipating member and a housing using the molded body. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-dissipating molded body is produced by hot-press molding a composition including a pitch-based carbon fiber and a matrix resin so as to obtain the body having an average thickness of 0.2-3 mm. The tensile elastic modulus of the carbon fiber in a fiber axial direction is ≥400 GPa, and thermal conductivity therein is ≥60 W/mK. The weight-average fiber length of the carbon fiber is 0.3-25 mm, the rate of the carbon fiber having the fiber length of 2-50 mm is ≥50 wt.% of the whole carbon fiber, and the carbon fiber content of the molded body is 30-80 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
