<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation and shorten a time, respectively, which are required for content display desired by the user. <P>SOLUTION: When a request for switching to a menu display mode is input, an active display area 441 and an inactive display area 442 are initialized to a near side and a far side from a driver's seat 10b of a vehicle 10, respectively, in a lateral direction of an oblong display screen 44. In the menu display mode, an active button image 2b1 as a button image 2b displayed on the active display area 441 is adjusted to the display size bigger than an inactive button image 2b2 as the button image 2b displayed in the inactive display area 442.
