PURPOSE: A lens module and a camera are provided to improve resistance against external shock and to precisely arrange an easily assembled lens holder. CONSTITUTION: A lens module comprises a lens(110), a lens holder(120), a housing(130), and an actuator unit(140). The lens images an object. The lens holder is formed in the outer circumference of the lens so that the lens can reciprocate in an optical axis direction. The housing comprises a cylindrical receiving unit. When the lens holder is slid in the optical axis direction of the lens, the lens holder is accepted in the receiving unit. The actuator unit has a reciprocating unit(141) which reciprocates the lens holder in the optical axis direction.
