<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and safety by facilitating adjustment of length of a wire engaged to a lower end of a shutter curtain and making an ascensional force act on the shutter curtain and performing work at a low place. <P>SOLUTION: An overhead door includes a shutter curtain 4 that is constituted by bendably coupling a required number of panels 5 together, winding drums 2 that are provided at both ends of a shaft 1 and urged in a winding direction by a balance spring 6, and wires 3 that are wound around the winding drums and that have lower ends engaged to a lowermost panel of the shutter curtain.
