<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for controlling a thermister device which do not generate overheat or arc discharge after an internal component is failed. <P>SOLUTION: The thermister device 100 includes supporters 102a, 102b, contacts 104a, 104b and an offset post 106a, and is configured so as to assist a fracture of a pill 110 in a failed thermister and dispose rubble of a fractured pill 110 in a section to be separated from the contacts 104a, 104b having electrical conductivity in order to minimize arc discharge and overheat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
