<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood that receives an infrared ray signal from a cooker with high accuracy for automatic operation. <P>SOLUTION: The range hood includes a receiver 5 for receiving the infrared ray signal transmitted from the cooker, and a body 4 for exhausting a contaminated air during cooking with the infrared ray signal. Also, the receiver 5 is movably configured. By this arrangement, even when an infrared signal transmitter of the cooker is not directed in the direction of the infrared ray signal receiver of the range hood, the range hood is obtained which receives the infrared ray signal with high accuracy for automatic operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
