<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode filter which can minimize variation in the characteristic impedance due to deviation of the interval between a pair of wires. <P>SOLUTION: The common mode filter comprises a drum core 10, a pair of wires 14, 15 applied to a winding core 11 of the drum core by bifilar winding, terminal electrodes 16A, 16B provided on the bottom face of the flanges 12, 13 of the drum core, and connection electrodes 18A, 18B provided, respectively, in the flanges 12, 13 in order to connect the terminal electrodes 16A, 16B and the wires 14, 15, respectively. Recesses 21 are provided in the center of the bottom faces of the flanges 12, 13 in the width direction, and the connection electrodes 18A, 18B are provided in the recesses 21. The pair of wires 14, 15 are wound such that the wires in the same turn adhere to each other, and the wires in adjoining turns are separated from each other. The distance between the terminals of the wires 14, 15 connected, respectively, with the connection electrodes 18A, 18B is shorter than the distance between the terminal electrodes 16A, 16B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
