<p>A foldable exercise bench, said exercise bench comprising a main frame having a pair of support members (1a, 1b) for supporting a barbell and a portion of a bench member 5, said main frame further having a lower cross member 3 fixed to said pail of support members, a base member 2 having a head portion 21 and a body portion 22, said body portion of said base member being pivotally connected to said lower cross member 3 of said main frame by a connecting means so that said main frame and said base member are rotatable with respect to each other, a support leg 14 pivotally connected to an end of said body portion of said base member distant from said head portion of the base member; wherein in said deployed position of the exercise bench, said body portion of said base member 2 extends through a plane defined by said pair of support members of said main frame such that said exercise bench is supported by said head portion of said base member and said support leg, and wherein said base member, said main frame and said support leg are rotatable into a storage position where said base member, said main frame and said support leg are in substantially a same plane.</p> |
