PURPOSE: A safety baby carriage is provided to prevent rolling on a slope by braking rear wheels at the same time as a user releases a handle. CONSTITUTION: A safety baby carriage comprises a seat part(5), a frame part(10), first and second roller members(30,35), and a braking member(20). The frame part comprises first and second frames(12,14) which respectively support the front and rear sides of the seat part, a link frame which is extended upward from the first or second frame, and a handle part(17) which is coupled by a hinge and moves up and down on the link frame. The first roller member comprises a rotary shaft(32) and a first roller unit(34). The rotary shaft is located on the lower side of the first frame and has a longitudinal braking hole. The first roller unit is installed on the rotary shaft. The second roller member comprises a second roller unit(38) which is installed on the lower side of the second frame. The braking member comprises a braking unit which moves up and down on the lower side of the first frame to be selectively inserted in the braking hole and a wire which moves the braking unit up and down by the up and down motion of the handle part.
