PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a firewood stove which can suck a flame, and does not discharge ashes and the like into an interior space, even if a combustion chamber is made to be large.SOLUTION: A firewood stove is provided with a box-shaped primary combustion chamber which is covered by a window 3 capable of opening/closing, and in which a firewood can be fed through the window 3; a heat riser 5 which is extended from a back side of the primary combustion chamber, and is configured by two circular pipes guiding a flare in the primary combustion chamber upward; a down draft portion 7 which lowers an air flow discharged from the heat riser 5 and guides that to an external chimney 9 side; and a bypass path 6 which guides the primary combustion air flow from an upper side of the primary combustion chamber to the down draft portion 7. When the window 3 is opened to feed a firewood, the air flow is sucked by using the bypass path 6 and the heat riser 5, thereby preventing the air flow from flowing into an interior space through the window 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
