PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To explore a novel inflammation controlling method which uses completely different type from the existing inflammation control method as a target.SOLUTION: The invention provides antiphlogistic containing an IKAROS (IKZF1) inhibitor. The invention also provides a screening method of an anti-inflammation substance comprising the following steps (1)-(3): (1) contacting cells, which includes nucleic acids encoding reporter proteins under the control of IKAROS genes or the transcription control regions of the genes concerned, to test substances; (2) measuring the expression level of the IKAROS genes, IKAROS proteins, or reporter proteins in the cells; (3) selecting the test substance which lowers expression level of the IKAROS genes, IKAROS proteins, or reporter proteins as a candidate of an anti-inflammation substance by comparing to when measuring under the absence of the test substances.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
