The battery management system (200A) includes a plurality of local monitors (2081,2082,...) coupled to a plurality of battery cells (2101,2102,...) and operable for sampling status information for the battery cells. The battery management system (200A) further includes a central controller (214) coupled to the local monitors (2081,2082,...) and operable for broadcasting a sample command to the local monitor synchronously, wherein the local monitors start to sample the status information for the battery cells in response to the sample command. |
