PURPOSE: A coupler for a submergence detector and a method for inspecting a clog and a leakage of a welded part using the same are provided to improve the convenience of a worker by facilitating attachment and detachment between an inspection pipe and the coupler. CONSTITUTION: A coupler(100) for a submergence detector includes a pressing rubber ring, a discharge preventing clip, and a clog inspecting discharge hole. The pressing rubber ring is installed near an inlet of the coupler. The discharge preventing clip is installed between the pressing type rubber ring and the inlet. The clog inspecting discharge hole is connected to an air discharge pipe(171). An inspection pipe(10) is inserted into the inlet of the coupler and a pressing cylinder(180) is pressed. The pressing rubber ring seals the outside of the inspection pipe. The discharge preventing clip is bent to prevent the discharge of the inspection pipe.
