PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for determining position using signals received by a navigation receiver are provided to obtain a measured value without surrounding interference sources. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(206) receives signals from a satellite and transmits the signal to signal chains(208,210,216). The receiving chains includes a front end filter and a low noise amplifier(208). A mixer is installed next to the lower noise amplifier. The received signals are combined with the signals of a local oscillator. A temperature compensated crystal oscillator is connected to the input of a mixer through a variable frequency mixer.
