摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus that achieves uniform illumination, allowing a viewer to be unaware of a border of a microlens. <P>SOLUTION: A display apparatus comprises: a light source device that has light source units which are provided in a matrix in a row direction and a column direction, and each of which includes a first light source for irradiating light including a first polarized component, a second light source for irradiating light including a second polarized component, and a lens for emitting light irradiated by the first light source and light irradiated by the second light source in different directions, respectively; and a display unit in which a first display area and a second display area are arranged alternately along the column direction, and in which the first display area allows the first polarized component of incident light incident from the light source device to pass, so as to display an image, and the second display area allows the second polarized component of the incident light to pass, so as to display an image. In the row direction, the light source units are arranged in a predetermined pitch.
