<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detection device for a vehicle that prevents a mounting part of a chamber member for pressure detection to a bumper reinforcement from breaking due to vibration of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The chamber member 7 includes a chamber body 71 in which a chamber space 7a is formed inside. The chamber member further has a mounting piece 73 which includes a body part 734, a bending part 732, and an abutting part 733 and which is extended in a tongue shape from an upper surface 71a of the chamber body 71 to a bumper reinforcement 4 side. In addition, the mounting piece 73 has the bending part 732 which does not abut on an edge 4c1 of the bumper reinforcement 4, and the abutting part 733 which abuts on the edge 4c1 when the vehicle vibrates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
