<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring tape with a magnet with which no breakage of elastic protective covers occurs. <P>SOLUTION: In a measuring tape having a containing space for containing a band-like scaled tape T wound around a spring-loaded rotation drum in a freely detachable manner through an opening 2 formed at the lower end of a front wall portion, a case main body 1 in which the wall portion directly under the opening 2 is a bottom wall portion, and an elastic protective cover 5 partially or entirely covering the case main body 1 besides the opening 2, a magnet 6 is arranged on a wall portion 5a of the elastic protective cover 5 covering the bottom wall portion of the case main body 1 to be in contact with the outer surface of an object to be adhered and makes the case main body 1 itself fixed and a holder 6c for fixing the magnet 6 to the wall portion 5a of the elastic protective cover 5 between the bottom wall portion of the case main body 1 and the elastic protective cover 5 via a connecting member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
