WIRELESS RECEIVER AND WIRELESS RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless receiver which receives a wireless signal subjected to spread spectrum modulation and MSK modulation or OQPSK modulation in which reception performance can be enhanced without modifying the specifications of a reception chip set and without modifying an ESPAR antenna, and to provide a wireless receiving method.

SOLUTION: The wireless receiver receives a wireless signal subjected to spread spectrum modulation and MSK modulation or OQPSK modulation according to a digital data signal having a predetermined symbol rate by using a first antenna and then demodulates the wireless signal. The wireless receiver further includes a second antenna provided in close vicinity to the first antenna so that it is coupled electromagnetically therewith. The wireless receiver is equipped with an array antenna constituted of the first antenna and the second antenna, and a directivity changing means for changing the directivity of the array antenna with a control frequency equal to the symbol rate.
