<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily improve flexibility of a disposable diaper by making an outer sheet thin while holding strength of a hip part covering area. <P>SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 includes an absorbent body 20, the outer sheet 4, and two end sheets 5 to fix both end parts in the lengthwise direction of the absorbent body 20 to be held and fixed with the outer sheet 4. In the disposable diaper 1, a turndown part 51 at an upper end part of the end sheet 5 is joined to an inner surface of the upper end part of the first outer sheet 41 to form the structure of the hip part covering area including one layer of the first outer sheet 41 and two layers of the end sheets 5 layered on each other. By properly selecting the material for the end sheet 5, therefore, the outer sheet 4 can be made thin to easily improve flexibility of the disposable diaper 1 while holding strength of the hip part covering area. By locating an upper end 421 of the second outer sheet 42 below the turndown part 51 of the end sheet 5, flexibility and breathability of a zone between the turndown part 51 and the second outer sheet 42 are improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
