<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining parts in which other parts can be smoothly joined; parts control is simple because no separate joining member is necessary; and joining after plating can be done. <P>SOLUTION: At least any one of parts 1 and 2 positioned on both outer ends is a metallic part, on which a dowel 3 is provided protruding to a joint surface 1a side thereof. On the other part 2, a mounting hole 9 is provided in an open manner into which the dowel 3 is inserted, and the mounting hole 9 forms a large diameter space 13 on a surface 8b side positioned opposite the joint surface, the inner diameter of which becomes gradually large while advancing to the surface 8b side along a center axis. The dowel 3 is inserted into the mounting hole 9 of the other part 2 from the joint surface 8a side, and a tip 3a of the dowel 3 is pressed to be plastic-deformed, and a pressed flat surface 3b of the tip of the dowel 3 is expanded to the large diameter space 13 so as to be positioned inside from the surface 8b of the other part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
