<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location information display device that can perform display which easily allow recognition of a current location of a rolling stock between stations and also allow a passenger staying at any location in the rolling stock cabin to perform visual confirmation without causing cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: The location information display device likens one end side and the other end side of a lighting means 20 as a former station where the rolling stock has stopped immediately before and the following station to be stopped next, controls one light source 22 of the lighting means 20 in a condition to be able to visually confirm discriminably from other light sources 22, as a point showing a current location of the rolling stock between these stations, and moves the point from the one end side to the other end side of the lighting means 20 one by one so as to express a proportion of traveling distance of the rolling stock after departure from the former station to distance between the former station and the following station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
