Tees.-A peg golf-tee of the kind that is adjustable in length to vary the height at which the ball is supported above the ground, comprises a ball supporting member a and a spike d adjustably connected by a screw-thread and adapted to be locked in fixed relative position by a nut b. The positive member of the screw connection may be carried either by the spike or by the supporting member. A hole c is provided in the spike for the attachment of a strip of coloured material. The tee may be formed of metal, ivory, bone, vulcanite, erinoid, fibre or hard wood.</p> |
