PURPOSE: A spurt pump is provided to improve pumping efficiency by increasing vacuum efficiency in a vortex chamber. CONSTITUTION: A spurt pump comprises a casing(4) and an impeller(5). The casing has an inlet hole(2) which is formed in the direction of a rotary shaft(8) to let fluid in and has a vortex chamber(1) and an outlet hole(3) which is formed in a direction perpendicular to the inlet hole to discharge fluid. The impeller, comprising a fluid inlet(6) and an outlet(7), is provided in the vortex chamber and rotated to make a vacuum inside the vortex chamber so that a fluid is sucked and discharged through the fluid inlet and the outlet.
