<p>AN APPARATUS FOR SIMULATING PHYSIOLOGICAL MOTIONS OF WRIST JOINT, RELATES TO AN ARTIFICIAL HUMAN WRIST JOINT TRIBO SIMULATOR (1) THAT ALLOWS UP TO TWO INDEPENDENT ROTATIONAL MOVEMENTS TO MIMIC THE PHYSIOLOGICAL MOTIONS OF THE WRIST JOINT WHERE THE PHYSIOLOGICAL MOTIONS INCLUDES RADIAL-ULNAR-DEVIATION MOTION AND FLEXION-EXTENSION MOVEMENTS OF THE WRIST JOINT. IN THE ARTIFICIAL HUMAN WRIST JOINT TRIBO SIMULATOR (1), A PRIMARY ACTUATION ASSEMBLY IS EMPLOYED TO MIMIC THE RADIAL-ULNAR-DEVIATION MOTION OF THE WRIST JOINT WHEREBY A SECONDARY ACTUATION ASSEMBLY IS EMPLOYED TO MIMIC THE FLEXION-EXTENSION MOVEMENTS OF THE WRIST JOINT. IN ADDITION, THE ARTIFICIAL HUMAN WRIST JOINT TRIBO SIMULATOR (1) PROVIDES CONSTANT COMPRESSIVE FORCES TO THE ARTIFICIAL WRIST JOINT DURING SIMULATION TO MIMIC ACTUAL PHYSIOLOGICAL LOADING IN HUMAN WRIST JOINT. MOREOVER, THE ARTIFICIAL HUMAN WRIST JOINT TRIBO SIMULATOR (1) IS ABLE TO PROVIDE A LUBRICATED CONDITION TO THE SIMULATION IN ORDER TO MIMIC ACTUAL CONDITION IN HUMAN WRIST JOINT.</p> |
