The present invention relates to an electric motor mainly for use in electric cars and the like, and more particularly, to an electric motor for electric cars in which: a joint retaining part for preventing a support from releasing from joint by covering one surface of the support and of a fixing shaft coupling part is coupled to the support by a coupling means, thereby preventing a fixing shaft from separating from the support; bent portions are formed on both sides of a first protruding end of the joint retaining part, the first protruding end covering the end portions of the support, thereby preventing the first and second end portions of the support from separating, wherein the bent portions are coupled to both sides of the first and second end portions while the joint retaining part covers the one surface of the support and of the fixing shaft coupling part, thereby preventing the first and second end portions of the support from separating from each other; and magnets are not directly adhered to the inside of a housing by means of an adhesive but cores are additionally included in the housing in such a manner that the cores are fixedly coupled to the inside of the housing, and have magnet insertion grooves into which magnets can be inserted and which have an equal distance therebetween, thereby preventing safety problems due to the separation of the magnets while the motor is on, and maximizing magnetomotive force by maintaining an accurate distance between the magnets. |
