<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection image display device capable of improving convenience when correcting image distortion. <P>SOLUTION: An image distortion correction unit 68 is enabled to execute corner distortion correction processing for generating a correction image signal from a display image signal with distortion of a projection image corrected in accordance with displacement magnitude of a correction point specified on the projection image, and trapezoidal distortion correction processing for generating a correction image signal from the display image signal in accordance with a change in an angular parameter that is related to a projection angle of a projector, by switching between the aforementioned two kinds of processing. When switching from the corner distortion correction processing to the trapezoidal distortion correction processing, the image distortion correction unit 68 calculates a predetermined angular parameter used in the trapezoidal distortion correction processing for generating the correction image signal which has been generated by the corner distortion correction processing to be generated by the trapezoidal distortion correction processing. After switching to the trapezoidal distortion correction processing, the image distortion correction unit 68 generates the correction image signal in accordance with a change in the angular parameter with the predetermined angle parameter set as its initial value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
