The present invention relates to a stream-processing method for a digital broadcast transmitter. The method comprises: a stream construction step of constructing a stream in which slots of different types are sequentially arranged, wherein existing mobile data, normal data, and/or novel mobile data are arranged in different formats in each slot; and a transmission step of encoding and interleaving the stream, and outputting the encoded and interleaved stream as a transmission stream. The stream construction step places novel mobile data, training data, and/or dummy data to orphan regions among sequential slots to which no data is allocated due to a difference in format. Thus, streams can be variously utilized.
