The present invention discloses a method and device for web application hosting in the field of internet. The method includes: a web application hosting system receives an application request or an application response; the web application hosting system extracts content data which correspond to the application request or the application response; the web application hosting system analyses the content data, and determines, according to the analysing result, whether to accept or to reject the application request or the application response. The device includes a forwarding unit, a processing unit, an analysing unit and an extracting module. According to the present invention, the application request or the application response is received, the content data which correspond to the application request or the application response are extracted, the extracted content data is analysed, and whether to accept or to reject the application request or the application response is determined according to the analysing result. Therefore, the hosted applications can be managed in time and effectively, and the management performance of web application hosting is improved. |
