Disclosed is a laminated polyester film that can resolve the problems arising when using a TAC film, has favorable adhesion to an adhesive agent, and can be suitably used as a protective film of a polarizing membrane. The laminated polyester film has, on a polyester film, an applied layer formed from an applied liquid containing a polyvinyl alcohol, an isocyanate compound or a carbodiimide compound, and a polyester resin.
