The present description provides a method for allocating device identifiers through an initial network entry process performed with a base station in a wireless access system. The method comprises a step of transmitting, to the base station, control information which indicates a device for supporting machine-to-machine communication; and a step of receiving, from the base station, a first message containing at least one of a first identifier that indicates a group to which the device belongs and a second identifier that indicates each device of the group.
