<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle a larger block while suppressing redundancy of line memory. <P>SOLUTION: AN image processing device is equipped with: a shape determination unit for determining the shape of a block which can be set within an image, by use of shape determination information for determining the shape of a block according to the size; and a vector setting unit which arranges a predicted unit to each block within the image in accordance with the shape determined by the shape determination unit and sets a motion vector to be used to predict a pixel value within the prediction unit to each arranged prediction unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
