<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage rotor preventing occurrence of internal defects and the like and reducing time required for manufacture and to provide a manufacturing method of the cage rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The cage rotor 1 includes: a rotor core 2 in which a plurality of steel laminated cores are laminated and which has a plurality of slots 7 extending in parallel; a plurality of metallic rotor bars 5 which are inserted into the plurality of slots 7 and are longer than the inserted slots; and two end rings 3 and 4 which are arranged at ends of the rotor core 2, which are at the ends in a direction where the plurality of slots 7 extend and which short-circuit the plurality of rotor bars 5. In the end rings 3 and 4, metallic material powder in a solid phase state, which constitute the end rings 3 and 4, are sprayed to the ends at a temperature lower than that of a melting point of the metallic material powder by heated compression gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
