<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt body capable of linearly disposing the bolt body and a breech. <P>SOLUTION: The bolt body 2 for this double barrel bolt action rifle includes a pair of breech bolts 3 extending forward, a central body section from which the breech bolts 3 extend, and a rear section 4 of the bolt body 2 receiving a pair of hammers 8, 9. The rear section 4 has a vertical slot 6 and a horizontal slot 5 formed therein and intersecting with each other to define a cross track in which the hammers 8, 9 move.
