<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for performing cash checkup processing without taking paper moneys out. <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction to execute cash checkup processing designating denominations of paper moneys is inputted, paper moneys in a paper money storage cabinet storing paper moneys of one of the designated denominations are conveyed to a paper money discrimination section 21, discriminated, counted and then piled up on a paper money receiving section 8. After all the paper moneys in the paper money storage cabinet are conveyed, paper moneys in the paper money receiving section 8 are returned to the paper money storage cabinet.
