PURPOSE:To perform the treatment of peripheral end portion with good productivity by attaching a molten synthetic resin to the peripheral end portion of an expand base material by pouring, pressing, and then cooling it. CONSTITUTION:In order to continuously treat the concave and convex portions 1 and 2 on both ends of the beltlike expand grid 3, molten polyethylene from the nozzle 5 is poured on them placed on the moving conveyer 4 coated with silicone grease thinly, for example, and then pressed from both sides by means of the rolls 6 covered with a thin polytetrachloroethylene film for example, at a time when they are slightly cooled so as to make the thickness of the expand grid almost the same as that of the synthetic resin-treated portion 7 and also to cause polyethylene to cut into the expand grid for integrate coupling. |
